FOTD: ...And the Color Finally Arrives!

This wasn't the look I had originally wanted to do - the one I had planned was actually an all blue look, but at the last minute, I decided to add in a neutral gold on the lid instead.  I remember now why I don't usually play around with color anymore - it takes so much time to find all the right tones to go together!  When I only have 20 minutes to get ready, it can be hard to find just the perfect shades, and I haven't quite gotten to the point where I can naturally figure out what shade should come next.  Hopefully I can figure that out this summer!

Read on for more pictures and the products I used:

My lips were actually much more coral in real life, but for some reason they're looking quite pink here. Hmm.

Warning: A very Lancome heavy look.  For some reason, I own a lot of Lancome shadows, and don't actually use them very often!

It's been so long since I've worn this much color....but it cheered me up whenever I looked in the mirror and it's such a change from my neutrals.  Yep, I definitely need to wear color more often

  1. I think you do color the right way, by accenting it rather than having it take over your entire eye :)
